This is a co-op of small farmers in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania practicing natural & sustainable farming.Cheese-making is one of the earliest industries to come to this country and these producers still collect the milk in cans from Amish farms where every can is numbered. The milk is tested and can be traced back to its source – from the exact farm, to the very cow from which it came! 100% grass-fed milk cows are fed no grains in order to produce a uniquely flavored artisanal cheese that is hand made the old-fashioned way, featuring Marble, Colby, Hot Pepper, Monterey Jack, Sharp Cheddar, Swiss, Smoked Cheddar and more. You can also visit the Middlefield Original Cheese Co-op to watch cheese being made. Closed Sundays.
